It had been a relaxing and enjoyable 3 days trip to Bintan with Xuan. There was no rush, no shopping, no frustrations, no hassle.. except noisy lizards and dirty lizard shit. The whole trip started well with us on board a ferry to Bintan. At first I thought it's those lousy ferry we took to pulau ubin.. Haha.. I was wrong.. We took quite a nice ferry.

And we both wore similar flip flops for this trip.

Here's our room!

Guess what?? Xuan also has a soft toy which she brings with her for every overseas trip!!! Hahaha..

We spent, and spent and spent. Had a very expensive buffet dinner for the first night. The best food there was.. SATAY!!! And we had a 4 course dinner and a cocktail on the second night at the Kelong. SHIOK and full to the max! ONAGA IPPAI!!!

I'm eating the water snail a.k.a GONG GONG.

And my Blue Hawaii...

This is what happens when you are stuck in a room waiting for time to pass... We started taking photos in the room.. Kekeke!

What was Xuan thinking? And what was I looking at?

Eh, why did I show you this pillar?

Let me zoom in for you.. See those black black dots along the beam? They are lizard shit. These are what tortured me this entire trip.. Everyday, one will land on Xuan's bed when we were out of the room. I freaked out each time I hear them 'talking' or see their shit around.. So glad that my house is free from lizards.

Before we left this beautiful island, we took a photo with our very nice and friendly staff, Wilis.. She kept asking us to go back again. The staff there are really friendly and approachable. As long as your eyes met theirs, they'll smile back and say hi.

Last but not least, how could we leave the island without a SPA treatment? For the 1st time in my life, I went for a full body SPA which costs a bomb. It's worth it because it's my first time and it left my skin feeling smooth and soft. Hahaha.

The SPA area was really pretty and serene. Had a good scrub, yoghurt coating and then a good massage finished off with a flower bath. Here's the bed that I laid on and the "bath tub".

After the bath, there was a lemongrass drink provided for us at a very serene, air conditioned and comfy place. The lemongrass drink we had at the restaurant at Expo is nothing compared to this one at Bintan. Really fragrant and refreshing. Cool!

I realised the scenery at Mayang Sari is so much better than our Cabana in Nirwana Beach Club. Check out the beach volleyball area.

Since it's not a shopping trip, I bought nothing back except 2 bottles of Vodka from the DFS at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Haha.

I realised that I really enjoyed my time out in the sun and sea.. slacking, praying, reading and swimming at our own pace at such great environment. Bali's next!!!!
